Parque Monte Verde - Albufeira

Parque Monte Verde is a lovely complex with beautifully kept grounds. Our spacious two-bedroom apartment had a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances, including a coffee machine and dishwasher. The pool area was fantastic, and the staff were attentive, changing our towels every few days.

The pool snack bar, was v small but the food was excellent. The pool and pool area wasn't crowded and all other holiday makers very friendly. There was no one rushing down with towels to save sun loungers. Probably bests suits a family with younger children, we travelled with teenagers for a week and possibly a 2 week stay would have left them a little bored. Overall as a family we enjoyed the week and would definately recommend the apartments. Most of the people we spoke to were returning holiday makers

The apartments are located on a bus route but the timetable is quite irregular with the last return bus from Albufeira at 7pm ish . Taxis are very reliable, if, you can get an answer from the office. The ideal situation is to hire a car/bike - some form of transport as the beach is over 4km walk. Too far in extreme heat. The supermarket is another hike with shopping bags. So transport would be good. A negative is that the apartments don't accept card payments everything is cash (not an ideal carrying large cash amounts around with you)

Truly enjoyed it, I didn't want to leave and I would recomand this hotel. Fairly clean, great value property, the location was magnificent and lovely just next door to choice for restaurants as well as the nearest beach in Gale, the later providing a long stretch as well as an ideal cove to lounge away the day. Dinner and breakfast food was fab.

Stayed at parque monte verde for three nights. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, with a great living room and comfy furniture. The pool area was fine, perfect for relaxation, and there weren't many people around. It's in a peaceful spot, but we were just a quick 10-minute drive from the old town. A standout was the friendly staff who were always there to help.

Superb relaxed family resort.

The place is great for families, with well-kept pools and plenty of sun. We especially loved having space for our special needs son and his support dog. The kids had a blast at the nearby beach, just a short drive away.

For dads, it would be great if there were more kids' activities available.

We had a lovely stay for 13 nights in a spacious superior one-bedroom apartment. The view was excellent and everything was clean. the Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

The room was air-conditioned and big size and with the bedroom, double beds instead of 2 singles, as for instance. The stuff was pleasant, kind, no reason to complain.

This was our third stay at Parque Monte Verde and we were not alone as we met other families who had stayed here before. The appartments are clean and even the one bedroom apartments are a good size. The patio area is big enough for a table and four chairs. The grounds and gardens around the appartments are very nice as is the pool area. The apartments are nice and quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. I would recommend hiring a car as it's about 5 minutes drive to Albuferia old town and the same to Gale beach.

This is our 5th stay at these apartments, it's a perfect location and we always have a very relaxing holiday, definately recommend and be going back!!

Would recommend for a mini-break over the weekend

Comfortable space, modern amenities, with a well-equipped kitchen including essential cookware and an outdoor swimming pool perfect.

Room cleaned and bed linen and towels changed frequently. Perfectly kept gardens. Wonderful pool area. Plenty of sunbeds. Great pool bar with fantastic chef Manwell. Great Manager Manual. Worth every penny!!!

The peace and quiet, good pool with plenty of space around it. The Air conditioning was good, a blessing in the very hot temperatures. The whole complex was clean and tidy.

We wanted to rent a car for a few days, Manwell rang a rental company, but could not get us a car. I think you need to provide that service, even a phone number that customers could ring. A phone number for a local taxi company, would also be very usefull.

The Superior One-Bedroom Apartment was really spacious and well-equipped. I loved the big balcony with a beautiful view for evening sunsets. The kitchen had everything we needed, even dishwashing supplies. Cleaning staff were on point, changing towels every three days. It was a solid place for a couple getaway.
